Meet The Team
Pastor Larry Gipson

Larry Gipson is the pastor and founder of Springs of Life. His calling is to point people to Jesus, whose radical love knows no bounds. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Interpretation and has served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine.
He first discerned a call to church-planting in seminary in Atlanta. But he also felt the Holy Spirit convict him of the need to prepare himself, so for seven years he served established churches in Boston, Dallas, and Greensboro. After moving to central Texas, he discovered the need for an inclusive faith community that would reach unchurched younger adults and began gathering the launch team for Springs of Life.
Outside of ministry, Larry is the husband to Kelsey Spinnato, Assistant Professor of Theology at Texas Lutheran University
Larry is also the dog-dad to Emory, a seventeen pound rescue mutt. He loves powerlifting, running, graphic novels, horror movies, gluten-free baking, and great local coffee.
As our pastor, Larry is responsible for leading our church to fulfill its mission to grow fruitful followers of Jesus by worshipping God, seeking justice, and gathering in authentic community. He reports to the Council and ultimately to the congregation as a whole.

Hannah Fisher

Hannah Fisher is a passionate advocate who thrives while working with and being a voice for underserved families and youth. Her cup is refilled by soaking up time in nature at the river, worshiping, and spending time in safe community with her loved ones. For Hannah, Springs of Life is not only an opportunity to serve with other followers of Christ, but also a sign of hope and sustenance as she begins a new chapter of life in San Marcos.
